The Problem

The homeowner (for both properties) were in search of an efficient fireplace system. Both already had in mind wood stoves. However, the current state of the firebox – it was not operable for a standard fireplace. Something had to be done anyways to bring the chimney to a usable state.

Products Used

We used a Lopi Medium Flush Nex-Gen Wood Stove insert for both, the wood stove has an arched door. The door is big enough to allow the homeowner to have an efficient fire with out compromising the view of the fire! The chimney was rebuilt along with the installation of the liner and wood stove. Portland Chimney also issues the Mechanical permit and inspection.
